Following the previous teaser/Bob Ross homage, a full trailer for Deadpool 2 has arrived and gives us our first footage of Josh Brolin’s Cable.

In typical fourth wall breaking fashion, Deadpool pauses the trailer when he notices some unfinished CGI on Cable’s arm and says “Why are the visual effects not done?” Then Deadpool takes a pop at the highly publicised removal of Henry Cavill’s moustache from the Justice League reshoots, sick burn.

Two years ago (already!), Deadpool surprised just about everybody by generating $783 million worldwide. That’s MCU money, and as the movie cost a very modest $58 million to make, that’s a whole lotta profit to go around. While the Disney/Fox deal leaves a question mark over Deadpool’s inclusion in the MCU, we do know that X-Force is in development and Deadpool 3 is already in the works. So, we have lots of potty mouth action to look forward to from Wade Wilson and co.

Joining Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin are Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams, and Brianna Hildebrand, and Zazie Beetz. Directed by John Wick and Atomic Blonde’s David Leitch from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the still-untitled Deadpool 2 hits cinemas on May 18.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover
