While it remains unclear if Disney releases Black Widow in May, the final trailer has landed for the eagerly awaited standalone movie for the much-loved character. Giving off a strong Captain America: Winter Soldier vibe, Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha Romanoff in what looks set to be another huge hit for Marvel.
If you didn’t already know, the solo movie is set shortly after the events of Civil War and before Infinity War. Marvel fans have been vocal wanting a solo movie for Black Widow, and the trailers so far have not disappointed. The new trailer has loads of new footage, a better look at the big bad Taskmaster, and more glimpses of the action set pieces. Naturally, this is a Marvel movie so we can only trust the trailers so much as they do enjoy misleading fans to avoid spoilers.
Also starring Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, Rachel Weisz, and a cameo from Robert Downey Jr. Black Widow is due for release in May.
