The end of an era is nigh, and I’m not talking about Fast and Furious with its never ending promise of One Last Ride, the penultimate entry in the Mission Impossible franchise is finally landing in cinemas this summer, and a new teaser just arrived. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt in his most dangerous mission to date, joining the mission are Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny, who reprises his role as Eugene Kittridge from the first movie. Once again directed by Christopher McQuarrie, Dead Reckoning Part One promises to deliver the most stunts filled entry in the blockbuster franchise.
Ethan Hunt and his IMF team embark on their dangerous mission to track down a terrifying weapon that threatens humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious and a powerful nemesis named Gabriel, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives of those he cares about most.
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will be released in cinemas worldwide from July 12, and the currently in production Part Two touches down June 28, 2024. Check out the brand new trailer below.
