M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass Gets A New Trailer

A brand new epic trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass has been unleashed.

Real villains are among us.

Real heroes are within us.

M. Night Shyamalan finally brings us a sequel to Unbreakable after dropping a massive surprise on audiences with Split being set in the same universe. I still stand by my comments that Unbreakable remains one of the best superhero films of all time. Glass looks like a worthy conclusion to the unexpected trilogy.

David Dunn (Bruce Willis) finds himself locked away in a psychiatric hospital run by Dr Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson). Pioneering a new treatment for those who believe themselves to be ‘more than human’, Dunn is brought face to face with Elijah Price, aka Mr Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy).

I’m going to go ahead and say it, the first trailer for Glass could be the best trailer of the year. I got chills, electrifying ones at that, I would have been happy if that was all we saw of the film before it hit cinemas. While it’s another intriguing promo showcasing lots of new footage (not loving Dunn’s hero name of The Overseer), but I think we’ve seen enough now. That said, I sat and watched this trailer three times back to back. I am genuinely excited about Glass, can you tell?

Also starring Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), and Spencer Treat Clark (Unbreakable), Glass is released in cinemas on January 18, 2019.

M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals—2000’s Unbreakable, from Touchstone, and 2016’s Split, from Universal—in one explosive, all-new comic-book thriller: Glass. From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
