Cobra Kai Season 2 Trailer

If you were to tell me a year or so ago that a spin-off to the Karate Kid centred on the bad boy of karate Johnny Lawrence would be one of the best TV shows of 2018, I wouldn’t have thought it possible. However, that unlikely situation is exactly what happened, and the second season of Cobra Kai is almost here.

The first full trailer has arrived for the YouTube Premium hit series that sees Ralph Macchio and William Zabka back in their iconic roles. The second season sees the rivalry between Daniel and Johnny heat up with Daniel opening the Miyagi-Do dojo to compete with Johnny’s Cobra Kai. Following the surprising cameo from Martin Kove as former Cobra Kai owner John Kreese, Johnny risks rolling back on bad habits as his former mentor resurfaces.

The first season was unexpectedly good, made with genuine heart and nostalgia, Cobra Kai was a huge hit for YouTube Premium and emerged as their most-watched original series. The first episode (which was available for free) was watched by more than 55 million people worldwide.

Cobra Kai returns to YouTube Premium on April 24.
