Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?

Also produced by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg, Cobweb offers a tense psychological horror with another striking performance from Lizzy Caplan. If you’ve seen the second season of the sorely missed Castle Rock, you’ll know firsthand that Caplan is a powerhouse. It’s likely due to his utterly inspired yet unsettling performance as Homelander on The Boys, but Anthony Starr playing a seemingly not murderous character is a little jarring. This only adds to the atmosohere that makes Cobweb a must see in cinemas when it arrives this September. Check out the trailer below.
