Remember that cool first person scene from Doom? Properly not as hardly anybody went to see the movie adaptation of the bestselling game. But it got filmmakers thinking. The first trailer for Ilya Naishuller’s Hardcore lives up to its name and gives us an insane first person movie that out Cranks Crank.

Sharlto Copley pops up in multiple roles and the relentless action is as well staged as it is violent. You might recall a couple viral videos from 2011 called Insane Office Escape, directed by Ilya Naishuller the two inventive shorts took the internet by storm. There’s no fixed UK release yet for Hardcore, but we will keep you posted as soon as we hear something.
