As difficult as it is to accept, it has been nearly 15 years since Indiana Jones came back after a long gap for the universally beloved Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Harrison Ford is back in action in his iconic role for one last adventure, and now we have the very first trailer and the official title. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny sounds more like a Dr Jones’ smooth jazz album.
While this is the first in the franchise not directed by Steven Spielberg (Logan helmer James Mangold is stepping in), this looks and feels very Indiana Jones. We also glimpse the de-ageing sequences with Ford and the return of another Raiders OG character. It’s John Rhys-Davies back as Sallah for the first time since The Last Crusade!!!!
Also starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Thomas Kretschmann, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will be released in cinemas on June 30, 2023.
