Maria Bamford plays of fictionalised version of herself (based on her own real life experiences) in Lady Dynamite. Created and produced by Pam Brady and Mitch Hurwitz (Arrested Development) the first season is now streaming on Netflix.

Maria Bamford is a sorely underrated comedian who will be familiar to those of you that watched the Netflix revival of Arrested Development (she played Tobias’ new love interest DeBrie Bardeaux). Anyhoo, all 12 episodes are now available and if you need further convincing to give it a go the series features appearances from Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, Jenny Slate, Mira Sorvino, Brandon Routh, Dean Cain, and Jon Cryer.
