“Claustrophobic & terrifying” ★★★★ GEEK LEGION OF DOOM ★★★★ SCREAM MAGAZINE
A brand new trailer for Cage Drive has surfaced (which you can see above) along with a shark-tastic clip.
A group of thrill-seeking friends venture to the Australian coast for a close encounter with a school of great white sharks. After a successful cage dive, the boat is struck by a giant wave and are left to the mercy of the ocean and its deadly inhabitants.
I love shark movies, good ones, bad ones and heck, even Sharknado in its own terrible way. We all that no shark-themed motion picture can measure up to Steven Spielberg’s Jaws, but the new wave of extreme survival movies like The Shallows and 47 Meters down has proved that an effective thriller can still be mined from the shark genre. Ordinarily, I’m not one for found footage films, but the trailers for Cage Dive suggest an intense experience, and I just can’t say no to a new shark based thriller.
