Based on the book by Joe Hill (aka Stephen King’s son), the first trailer for AMC’s NOS4A2 (Nosferatu) has arrived. Vic McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings) has always known she was a little different, but when her ability to find seemingly lost things forces her to cross paths with a nefarious immortal, her world is forever changed.
I probably should have led with Zachary Quinto is starring as said immortal, Charlie Manx, who is a vampire that feeds on the souls of children locking them away in a twisted reality of his design, Christmasland. That in itself is enough to get me (v)amped up for the series, Quinto is at his best when he is playing an unhinged charismatic baddie, American Horror Story: Asylum, and (at least the first season) Heroes use his devilish charm, and menace to hypnotic effect. The trailer here suggests a deeply unnerving ride into terror, and I can’t wait to see more.
NOS4A2 is due to launch on AMC on June 2, there is currently no UK date set, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Check out the trailer below!
Based on Joe Hill’s 2013 best-selling novel of the same name, NOS4A2 follows Vic McQueen, played by Ashleigh Cummings (The Goldfinch), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with the evil and immortal Charlie Manx, played by Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, American Horror Story). Manx is a supernatural villain who feeds off the souls of children then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – a twisted place of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.
