The wait is almost over to return to the 80s for the highly anticipated second season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, and an epic final trailer has arrived to tease the fans further.
Aptly released on Friday the 13th, the final trailer is the stuff of goosebumps and WTF moments with its fusion of 80s nostalgia and H.P Lovecraft. Some fans might think there is too much footage in the final trailer, but this is by far one of the most heart-racing promos I’ve seen in quite some time. I trust the showrunners/creators The Duffer Brothers; the first season was so well put together they immediately earned a global audience for their inventive series.
Audiences all over the world fell in love with Stranger Things and its talented young cast. A homage to the collective work of Steven Spielberg and Stephen King, The Duffer Brothers created something that captured the imagination of viewers and emerged as the true success of summer 2016. Perhaps even more impressive than the performances of all the youngsters, Winona Ryder delivered a knock-out turn with David Harbour nearly stealing the show.
The good news is that there’s an extra episode this season and we only have to wait until October 27 to binge watch the whole thing!
It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
