Christopher Robin Trailer

Directed by Marc Foster and starring Ewan McGregor, the first teaser trailer for Christopher Robin has arrived. Not to be confused with last year’s Goodbye Christopher Robin that starred Domhnall Gleeson as Winnie The Pooh author A. A. Milne. Foster’s film takes a page out of Hook’s book and centres on a now grown up Christopher Robin.

If you’ve watched the trailer above, and you’ve seen Steven Spielberg’s underrated Hook, then you’ll notice there are more than a few similarities. Serving as a sequel of sorts, Christopher Robin is now an adult and has all but forgotten about his wild imagination from his youth. However, when Robin returns to the Hundred Acre Wood, his special animal friends are there to help him remember. So, yeah, it sounds a lot like Hook with added Winnie The Pooh. But doesn’t have to be a bad thing, I love Hook, there I said it and I know you all don’t feel the same.

Starring Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael, Mark Gatiss, and featuring the voices of Jim Cummings, Chris O’Dowd, Nick Mohammed, Brad Garrett, Peter Capaldi, Sophie Okonedo, and Toby Jones. Disney’s Christopher Robin is released in the UK on August 17.

In the heartwarming “Christopher Robin,” the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.
