Good Tidings Teaser Trailer

Good Tidings

The first teaser trailer for festive horror movie Good Tidings has arrived, and it is very much the season to get bloody. As regular readers will know, we love indie projects here, and there is always a home for the work of indie filmmakers on our pages. If you love Christmas and can’t get enough of horror movies, then you won’t want to miss Good Tidings as it has the added bonus of featuring a trio of very creepy Santas.

Here’s the official synopsis;

A creepy, horrific Christmas exploitation tale. A homeless war veteran with a chequered past must rely on a side of himself once thought buried when he and his companions are targeted on Christmas Day by three vicious psychopaths in Santa suits. Ruining Christmas 2016.

In a recent interview with UK Horror Scene, co-writer and director Stuart W. Bedford gave an insist into what inspired Good Tidings.

We’ve always been fascinated by Exploitation movies. Good Tidings is our love-letter to those phenomenal slashers from the 70’s and 80’s, tied together by a festive satire: Christmas is cruel to the poor.”

As somebody who finds the festive time of year inherently frightening, I can’t wait to see what these guys have cooked up. There aren’t enough Christmas themed horror movies out there for my liking, so I’m fully behind anything that seeks to unnerve us during the annual month of over indulgence.

We will be bringing you all the latest developments in the run-up to its 2016 release. For more details about the movie, check out their Facebook page for regular updates.
