Nicolas Cage Buys A Creepy Motel In Looking Glass

Giving Norman Bates a run for his money in the murderous Motel business, Nicolas Cage and Robin Tunney (The Craft) star in new thriller Looking Glass. Cage and Tunney star as grieving parents (Ray and Maggie) who in an attempt to save their marriage buy a motel and try to start a new life. However, their motel in the middle of nowhere is a hotspot for all sorts of salacious and criminal activity. Events take a dark turn when Ray witnesses a brutal murder and must put the pieces together before the motel’s secrets claims everything he holds dear.

While the days of big-budget blockbusters or Academy-Award worthy performances might be a distant memory, you can’t fault Nic Cage for his worth ethic. This year, we’ve already had dark horror comedy Mum and Dad, Mandy looks like undefinable yet must-see, and there’s Between Worlds, Primal, and The Humanity Bureau still to come.

Also starring Marc Blucas (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Looking Glass is released on Digital HD 16th April & DVD 23rd April.

After losing their daughter to a tragic accident, shattered couple Ray (Nicolas Cage) and Maggie (Robin Tunney) purchase a motel in the middle of nowhere in the hopes of starting a new life. But Ray begins to notice strange goings-on, and starts to piece together the history of a bizarre murder associated with the motel. Poking around in a basement one day, Ray discovers a crawl space, which leads to a two-way mirror into one of the rooms. As he becomes obsessed with the unusual activities that happen beyond the looking glass, his marriage, sanity and his very life are threatened.

Starring action-legend Nicolas Cage, Robin Tunney (The Craft, Empire Records) and Marc Blucas (Brawl in Cell Block 99). Looking Glass is a new thriller from Tim Hunter (River’s Edge) also a noted television director known for Gotham, American Horror Story and classic era Twin Peaks.
