The seventh season of Ryan Murphy & Brad Falchuk’s American Horror Story finally arrives on DVD & Blu-ray on August 27.

Surrender your will to TV’s most terrifying series, AMERICAN HORROR STORY. The hit anthology horror drama series created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk blasts into its seventh season mixing real-life events and characters with a searing satire on the post-2016 election landscape of the USA – with nerve-shattering results. Featuring dazzling performances from Emmy-award winner Sarah Paulson, Alison Pill and Evan Peters.

It is post-election 2016, and Ally Mayfair-Richards, a Michigan woman, plagued by phobias, attempts to find happiness as a restaurateur alongside her chef wife and son. But Ally’s family – and her grip on reality – are threatened by the arrival of Kai Anderson, a politically motivated cult leader who’s plotting an unthinkable mass murder.

Smartly written and addictive, American Horror Story: Cult  is a scrumptious scare-fest served up with social commentary, pinky swearing, clown suits and gas lighting, this is a biting satire mixed with a hefty amount of frights that fans will gobble up. If you haven’t joined the cult yet, now’s the time.

There is just a couple of weeks to wait before season eight of American Horror Story launches on FX with the highly anticipated crossover, Apocalypse. Uniting characters from the first (Murder House) and third season (Coven), Apocalypse is bringing Jessica Lange back to the fold to reprise her role from the first season. She’ll be joined by fellow Murder House co-stars Connie Britton, and Dylan McDermott who recently confirmed they would both be coming back, somehow.

The always impressive Sarah Paulson will have her work cut out for her this year with at least three recurring roles on Apocalypse. Starring (deep breathe) Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Emma Roberts, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Stevie Nicks, Connie Britton, with Dylan McDermott, and Joan Collins. American Horror Story Apocalypse launches on FX on September 12.
