It has been quite refreshing to have a break from the Marvel machine, between too many Disney+ shows and a succession of underwhelming films, it is genuinely exciting to see the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World only eight months before it hits cinemas.
Anthony Mackie picks up the mantle of Cap following the events of Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Harrison Ford steps into the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross (previously played by the late William Hurt), we get a glimpse of Red Hulk and a taste of some of the action set pieces. Joining the MCU for the first time since the Edward Norton Incredible Hulk is Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns / Leader and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross.
After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.
