Now that we’ve all binged on Jessica Jones, the countdown to Daredevil’s return can officially start with Netflix confirming a March 18 release date for all 13 new episodes. Previous reports had Daredevil back on our Netflix accounts March 25th, however as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in cinemas on that date, perhaps Netflix opted to move the release forward.
The Netflix arm of the Marvel Universe is shaping up to be a rather brilliant place, obviously Hell’s Kitchen is riddled with dangerous criminals which is bad but the two shows so far have been excellent entertainment. Season two stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and guest star Rosario Dawson will be joined by Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle and Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios. A new teaser trailer has been release, but don’t get too excited as there isn’t much in the way of new footage.
Daredevil season 2 will be available for binge watching on March 18.
Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.
Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) is joined by a stellar cast including Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick).
