We're making a few changes...sorry for the inconvience.

The following article contains spoilers for Split, so consider yourself officially warned.

Many people had written M.Night Shyamalan off after a diabolical run of movies that included The Last Airbender, The Happening, and After Earth. The former master of the twist ending seemed like his glory days were behind him. Then something happened, and it had nothing to do with trees, he partnered up with horror producer Jason Blum and made the highly effective thriller The Visit. Spoiler Alter! The Visit came with a twist ending, and the even bigger surprise of a near $100 million gloabel haul from a paltry $5 million budget.

A year later Shyamalan unleashed another Blumhouse low-budget flick called Split, and pulled off the greatest twist in his oh so twisty carrer. The closing moments of Split revealed a surprise cameo from Bruce Willis as his Unbreakable character David Dunn, boom! Split was set in the same universe as Unbreakable and set up a possible sequel. James McAvoy’s powerhouse performances made the movie on of the best of last year, but Willis’ cameo presented an intriguing possibility.

Cut to present day, and Shyamalan has shot the follow-up, and just released the first poster for Glass on Twitter.

“I’m so excited to tell you that @GlassMovie will be at #ComicCon, I will be in Hall H on July 20th with the cast! You can expect a surprise as well… But if you need your #GlassMovie fix before July 20th, here’s the world premiere of our teaser poster.”

I am all in on Glass, I still class Unbreakable as one of the best superhero movies of all time (seriously!) and this first poster has me very excited.

Starring James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Treat Clark, Charlayne Woodard with Anya Taylor-Joy and Sarah Paulson. Glass will be smashing into cinemas on January 18, and a trailer should be arriving in the run up to Comic Con.
