Grace and Frankie Season 4 Sets Release Date

Coming Soon

Fans of Netflix’s comedy-drama Grace and Frankie are in for a treat as the fourth season of the acclaimed series will be with us sooner than expected. The third season launched in March this year, but we don’t have to wait until Spring to see it as Netflix is rolling the show out worldwide on January 19.

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are a constant source of hilarity and inspiration to millions of people as two seniors who learn it’s never too late to grab life by the horns. According to creator Marta Kauffman, the new episodes will be “really about the women coming to terms with age, coming to terms with how old they are, where their bodies are at this point, where their minds are at this point and what does that imply, what does that mean?” While that does paint a picture of a somewhat more dramatic series, Grace and Frankie have been able to find the funny in many of life obstacles.

Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael, and Baron Vaughn are all back in their respective roles, and this season they’ll be joined by Lisa Kudrow. Kauffman famously co-created a little sitcom called Friends, and this marks the first time that they have collaborated on a sitcom since Friends came to an end back in 2004. Despite the internet having other ideas, a Friends revival isn’t likely to happen, so we’ll have to take the mini-reunions where we can get them.

Seasons one-three of Grace and Frankie are available to stream on Netflix now, if you’ve yet to fall for its charms, the festive break is the perfect time to get all caught up before the new season starts.
