The Vin Diesel franchise that’s full of over the top stunts, gravity-defying action and a threadbare plot that isn’t Fast and Furious get the Honest Trailer treatment. The success of the first speedy angry movie saw its director and star reunite for what was designed as a franchise starter to rival James Bond. xXx or Tripple X if you like, hit cinemas and managed to be a solid hit. Diesel mumble growled his way through scenes; he wore a selection of sleeveless vests, he blows stuff up, and his stunt team earn every penny of their paychecks.

Diesel bailed on the second Fast and Furious, and he kept that going and opted out of xXx 2, his character was killed off (in a short film not starring Diesel) but made a return in the aptly titled xXx Return of Xander Cage. Long story short (too late), those sinfully funny people over at Screen Junkies have taken their many skills to take aim at the xXx franchise. Diesel recently confirmed that a fourth movie is in the works, so that’s a thing. Meanwhile, Fast and Furious 9 has been delayed by almost a full year just a few weeks before it was due in cinemas.
