The biggest movie of all time is readying itself for Home Entertainment release, and as if by magic those clever humans over at Screen Junkies have put together an epic Honest Trailer for Endgame.
Communicating the Infinity Saga, Endgame had a lot of expectations to live up to, and naturally, not all of them were met for everybody. Unlike Game of Thrones’ divisive finale (and final season), Endgame does a near-impossible job of wrapping up multiple story threads, gives noble departures for some of the original Avengers, and teases the direction of the future. All of that in one time-travel, greatest hits, three-hour grand slam that demands repeat viewing.
Naturally, no movie is gets everything right, and with its paradox inducing antics, Endgame has more than its share of narrative problems. But who cares when you get to see Bro Thor, Cap wielding Mjölnir, and a crowd-pleasing final battle that will have you cheering and hitting rewind. We now know what the future holds for the MCU after Kevin Feige announced the full(ish) Phase 4 line-up.
Avengers Endgame lands on DVD, Blu-ray, and Digital Download on September 2.
