Keanu Reeves is back in action as the seemingly unkillable super-assassin John Wick for the highly-anticipated fourth instalment in the blockbuster franchise. Following Chapter 3, Wick was betrayed by his old friend Winston (Ian McShane) after being shot multiple times and falling off the Continental hotel’s roof. The closing moments of Chapter 3 perfectly set up the incoming fourth movie, teaming up with The Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) to take their revenge against the High Table.

After a brief teaser was released a few weeks ago, Lionsgate has unleashed a full-blown action-packed trailer. This time, Wick might have found a way to leave his old life behind for good, but he’ll need to punch, stab, kick, and kill his way through an array of professional killers first. As usual, the action choreography on display here is something else, with the commitment from Reeves and everybody involved paying off in what looks like another highly entertaining sequel.

The John Wick universe is expanding next year with the prequel TV series The Continental coming to Amazon Prime (outside of the US) with Colin Woodell starring as a Young Winston, manager of the hotel for assassins. That’s not all; the long-gestating spin-off Ballerina recently landed its star in Ana de Armas (Knives Out); she’ll be joined by Ian McShane and the man himself, Keanu Reeves.

Joining Reeves for Chapter 4 is Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane. John Wick Chapter 4 arrives in cinemas on March 24; check out the trailer below.
