There are less than three weeks to go before Avengers: Infinity War gets unleashed in cinemas and a decade’s worth of planning pays off. An entire universe of heroes unites to take on Thanos to stop him blinging up his gauntlet and granting him world-ending powers at the snap of his mighty fingers. Just in case there were any people left that didn’t know Infinity War was imminent, a brand new trailer has arrived with King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) front and centre.
The phenomenal success of Black Panther (almost $1.3 billion and counting) it’s worth reminding moviegoers that King T’Challa and many of the Black Panther characters are a significant part of the movie with an epic battle taking place in Wakanda. Given that many of the current croup of MCU heroes’ contracts are up after the as yet untitled Avengers 4, King T’Challa is an obvious choice to take on a leadership role in The New Avengers. We’ll have to wait and see who is left standing once the dust settles, but the Russo Brothers have previously teased that this is the end of the line for many beloved characters.
Starring Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Bradley Cooper, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie, and maybe Jeremy Renner. Avengers Infinity War is released in the UK on April 26.
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
