Before he ventured back to the world of Harry Potter with Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, director David Yates helms this epic adaptation of The Legend of Tarzan. Fans of True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgård are in for a real treat as he spends 90% of the movie wearing not a whole lot. 

The first trailer for the rebooted Tarzan has arrived, but before you get to see Alexander Skarsgård swinging through the trees, a full synopsis for the movie has also been released.

It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

Starring alongside Alexander Skarsgård and his abs are; Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, John Hurt and Djimon Hounsou. The Legend of Tarzan will be released in cinemas on 8th July 2016. Check out the teaser trailer below, even his abs have abs WTF!
