The annual Disney investor presentation was full of unexpected announcements with five new Marvel shows heading to Disney+. However, before they arrive, we still have WanderVision, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Loki. As luck would have it, the first trailer for both Falcon & The Winter Soldier and Loki has arrived, and they do not disappoint.
The first teaser for Loki is here, and a lot is going on here. The first minute of the trailer takes us back to Avengers Endgame, well to 2012 to be more specific when our time travelling heroes attempt to reclaim the Tesseract. However, Loki finds himself in possession of it and before you can say, God of Mischief, he’s vanished to who knows where. Well, Loki will answer that very question as he finds himself in an unknown place, and then things take a turn. Enter a previously unannounced Owen Wilson playing a mysterious character who knows an awful lot about Loki and his exploits. Wilson’s character remains unnamed, but it is believed he is playing Mobius M. Mobius and works for the TVA (or Time Variance Authority) which is a very exciting development.
There is no sign of Richard E. Grant, and if the rumours are true he could be playing an older version of Loki from an alternative reality. Marvel is opening up the multiverse in a big way with Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so all bets are off as to what to expect. Check out the first trailer below.
