Justin Kurzel’s new adaptation of Macbeth is out now in cinemas, led by powerful performances from Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard the film has been greeted by universal praise from critics. Reworking Shakespeare is no easy task, breaking away from the perception of stuffy costume dramas, Justin Kurzel contemporary yet faithful adaptation would make Kenneth Branagh proud.
