A year after their first Special Presentation in the form of Michael Giacchino’s Werewolf By Night, a brand new colour version of the Marvel 50-minute one-off will be landing on Disney+ on October 20th.
Werewolf By Night first arrived on Disney+ last October, a beautifully shot black-and-white love letter to the iconic horror films of yesteryear. Filled with some stunning practical effects, Werewolf By Night was Marvel officially dipping a toe into the horror pool, and the results were better than many of their theatrically released projects over the last few years. Based on the comic book of the same name, Werewolf By Night was initially developed as a potential movie in 2001, but after years trapped in development hell, the character went back into the Marvel vault. It remains to be seen if Marvel plans for a series or to feature the character in any of its upcoming Avengers sequels, but a more bloody colour version indicates we have yet to see the last of Marvel getting a bit more spooky.
