Acorn Media International has announced that Mystery Road: Origin Series 2 will arrive on DVD and digital on February 16, following its BBC run, which begins tonight. Picking up the story of Jay Swan — hailed by The Guardian as one of “Australia’s all-time greatest screen sleuths” — the new series once again places character and atmosphere front and centre. Set six months after the events of the first series, Jay is attempting to build a quieter life with partner Mary (Narkle) in the fading town of Loch Iris.
