New Anthology Series Them Debuts First Trailer

From the artwork for the poster, the string-heavy teaser, and Shahadi Wright Joseph’s presence, you could be mistaken for thinking that the new horror series Them is a spin-off from Jordan Peele’s Us, but the Get Out filmmaker has no involvement in Little Marvin’s anthology series. While Peele’s films have served as a point of inspiration, Marvin’s series is set in the 50s, and based on this trailer, a very different kind of evil. The first chilling trailer for Them has arrived, which you can see above, and if you’re a fan of horror, this is your next binge watch series after The Terror!

Here’s the official synopsis.

A limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The first season, 1950s-set “Covenant” centres around a Black family who move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.

Starring Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Ryan Kwanten, and Alison Pill, all 10 episodes of Them will be available on Amazon Prime on April 9.
