In case you didn’t know, after a decade of ground work the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings just about every superhero together (apart from Hawkeye) for the ultimate battle. Thanos (Josh Brolin) is dead set on getting his intergalactic bling glove all blinged up, and he is hunting for the remaining infinity stones to complete his collection.

Naturally, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are less keen on The Mad Titan getting his giant purple mitts on the stones on account of the world ending powers a complete set grants the wearer. The first trailer set the stakes and gave us a hint at the weird and wonderful team-ups, this latest trailer ups the ante and not everybody is going to make it out of this alive. The new trailer is home to several WTF moments, Thor’s head being squashed by Thanos, Cap (or Nomad) taking on Thanos alone, and a battle in Wakanda that looks set to go down in movie history.

Marvel overlord Kevin Feige has previously teased that the MCU will be a drastically different place after Infinity War and the as yet untitled sequel due next summer. At this stage, I don’t need to see any more footage to part with my money. Running at a reported 156 minutes, Infinity War is officially the longest MCU movie to date, here’s hoping everybody gets their moment to shine.

Starring (deep breath) Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Tom Hiddleston, Chadwick Boseman, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Bradley Cooper, Anthony Mackie and many more.

Avengers Infinity War is released in the UK on April 26, check out the brand new poster below.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
