A brand new trailer for the highly-anticipated fifth season of Rick & Morty has arrived, and it’s even more chaotic and action-fuelled than the first teaser. There is even more new footage on offer in this trailer, which promises to be worth the wait for us fans.
Since Adult Swim handed out a massive 70 episode pick-up for Rick & Morty, the production team have managed to stay ahead of schedule. Long gaps between seasons are the norm, but that should be a thing of the past as writing on season six is already well underway. So, could that mean we’ll be getting a new season every year? It’s too soon to say that for sure, and we’ve been promised shorter gaps before, but between the pandemic and the 70 episode order, season six will certainly be with us next year.
If you can’t wait for the all-new Rick & Morty, you can check out Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan’s (Star Trek Lower Decks) new series Solar Opposites. The second season is airing weekly on Disney+ via Star on Fridays; all current episodes can be streamed now.
Rick & Morty season 5 arrives on Adult Swim next month, UK fans can catch it on E4 shortly after, but there is currently no fixed date.
