A new trailer for Rob McElhenney and Megan Ganz’s Apple TV+ series has landed with a longer look at Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet. Hoping to fill the void of tech-based comedy left by the recently departed Silicon Valley, Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet takes a skewed look at the gaming industry.

Meet the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all time. But in a workplace focused on building worlds, moulding heroes, and creating legends, the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game—they happen in the office.

Best known for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, McElhenney is the latest cast member of the long-running series to branch out with a solo series. Kaitlin Olson led the under appreciated The Mick, and Glen Howerton’s A.P Bio was axed after two seasons but revived for a third run shortly after. Co-creator Ganz has written and produced multiple episodes of It’s Always Sunny as well as Modern Family, Community, and my personal favourite The Last Man on Earth.

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet looks like it could be fun, it might not be the biggest stretch for McElhenney’s talents, but it is always good to see the Sunny cast in something new. As I mentioned earlier, The Mick deserved more love than it got before it’s premature cancellation after two seasons.

Meanwhile, Mythic Quest will land on Apple TV+ on February 7 and features an ensemble cast that includes F. Murray Abraham, Danny Pudi, Imani Hakim, Charlotte Nicdao, and Sunny regular David Hornsby.
