James McAvoy takes a break from the X-Men universe and is joined by Daniel Radcliffe who star in this bold retelling of Mary Shelly’s iconic creation in the form of Victor Frankenstein. McAvoy portrays the drive Doctor determined to put a stopper on death, aided by Radcliffe’s faithful Igor, the two men push the limits of science to breaking point.
The first trailer might not have delivered the gothic horror we were expecting and has already been likened to Van Helsing. Directed Paul McGuigan (Gangster #1, Push, Sherlock) and written by Max Landis (Chronicle), Victor Frankenstein also stars Jessica Brown Findlay, Charles Dance, Mark Gatiss, Andrew Scott and Daniel Mays.
