Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Dave Franco are back with franchise newcomer Lizzy Caplan for Now You See Me 2. A year after the conclusion of their audacious heist, The Four Horsemen resurface for a comeback tour to clear their names and reveal the true mastermind behind the crime. I can’t say that I was a huge fan of the first movie, the plot was a tad thin and the stage shows were an awful mix of bad CGI and sloppy direction. Hopefully the sequel will be an improvement, but I’m only vaguely interested because Michael Caine is back.
Also starring Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Daniel Radcliffe, Now You See Me 2 will appear in UK cinemas on June 10, 2016. I still think a better title would have been Now You Don’t, or as a compromise, Now You See Me Again.
