Slow Horses Series 3 Trailer

Gary Oldman is back as veteran MI5 operative Jackson Lamb in the first trailer for the highly-anticipated third run of Slow Horses. The new series takes its story from the third book by Mick Herron, Real Tigers, Lamb and his team of disgraced agents at ‘Slough House’ become embroiled in a conspiracy that goes into the very heart of government and may spell the end for the Slow Horses. Well, it won’t be the end, as series 4 is already in the works, but I needed to impress upon you the high stakes of the new season.

Oldman is fantastic in the role of Jackson Lamb, and I’ve never been more grateful that smell-o-vision (or smell-o-rama if you like) is still not a thing, as Lamb’s coat definitely smells like 1000 takeaways and 10,000 cigarettes mixed with an unspecified quantity of spilt beer. Much like the books they’re based on, Slow Horses has a dark sense of humour that runs throughout, which really sets itself apart from the crowded spy genre. The series will land on AppleTV+ on November 29 with the first two episodes, and will release one new episode a week until the finale on December 27.
