If the recent trailer and behind the season video for a movie called Cliff Beasts 6: The Battle For Everest: Memories of a Requiem left you wondering, I’ve not seen Cliff Beasts 1-5, you’re not alone. The faux trailer was for Judd Apatow’s new Netflix comedy The Bubble, which finds an A-list band of actors forced to quarantine with each other to form a (you guessed it) production bubble to finish the movie.
Featuring a fantastic cast that includes Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, Guz Khan, and Kate McKinnon. If that wasn’t enough, the legendary Peter Serafinowicz is also in the mix and a deep fake Benedict Cumberbatch. The first full trailer has arrived, and it looks like it could be a return to comedic form for Judd Apatow, best known for his bawdy comedies Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and This Is 40.
The Bubble arrives on Netflix on April 1, check out the trailer below.
The Bubble is a comedy about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs.
