The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2

Coming Soon

The undead are back, and Manhattan’s about to get messy, really messy. The Walking Dead: Dead City returns for a second season, throwing fans right back into the brutal, gore-soaked streets of post-apocalyptic New York. Leading the charge once again are Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, Supernatural, The Boys) as Negan and Lauren Cohan (The Boy, The Vampire Diaries) as Maggie, whose uneasy alliance continues to make for captivating TV.

Season 2 digs even deeper into the twisted bond between the two survivors as they fight to stay alive in a city crawling not only with walkers but with ruthless enemies—some familiar, some new, and all just as dangerous as the dead themselves.

Following the huge success of its debut season on Sky Max, Dead City Season 2 is set to arrive on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on  September 29, 2025 courtesy of Acorn Media International. Picking up where the action-packed first season left off, we see our uneasy allies thrown into opposite sides of a brutalturf war that threatens to consume what’s left of civilisation. New alliances are formed and old loyalties are tested as the shadowy New Babylon Federation steps in, bringing with it a whole new set of dangers and political intrigue. With factions at war, vicious new enemies emerging and the walkers more ruthless than ever, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) must decide whether survival means standing together… or apart.

Fans will also have the option to pick up The Walking Dead: Dead City Seasons 1 & 2 Box Set the same day, making it easy to revisit every blood-soaked twist from the very beginning. For collectors, there’s an added bonus: the Blu-ray and DVD editions of Season 2 come with a reversible sleeve, making it a perfect addition to any shelf of Walking Dead memorabilia.

With Negan and Maggie once again at the centre of a fight for survival in the ruins of New York, Dead City Season 2 looks set to deliver another round of grim, action-packed storytelling—and prove that even years into the apocalypse, the dead aren’t the only ones raising hell.
