Little Bone Lodge Starring Joely Richardson Sets Digital Release

From the director of Cockneys Vs Zombies and the producers of 47 Metres Down comes a twisty thriller that will chill you to the bone. During a stormy night in the Scottish Highlands, two criminal brothers on the run seek refuge in a desolate farmhouse. But after taking the resident family captive, they find the house holds even darker secrets of its own. Welcome to Little Bone Lodge.

Colour Out Of Space star (and acting legend) Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) plays the fearsome family matriarch who will stop at nothing to protect her kin and the shocking mysteries surrounding their existence. Speaking about the film, here’s what director Matthias Hoene had to say;

“With ‘Little Bone Lodge,’ I wanted to do a film where every element is considered, placed, and choreographed to create tension and mystery and carve the characters into our brains in the most vivid and gut-wrenching way.”

He added; 

I tried to make the viewer experience a Hitchcockian delight in the twisted darkness of the characters and story. We know something is off, but we don’t know what. Dramatic Irony, suspense, and the depth of the characters should keep us glued to the screen and want to take the viewer to a place worse than death and serve up a story impossible to forget.
