Based on the hugely popular Wondery podcast, the series charts the shockingly true story of Dr. Christopher Duntch, and the people who risked it all to bring him to justice. The eight-episode series arrives in the US on July 15, with all episodes available to watch as you please. While there are currently no details on when Dr Death will land in the UK, we do have this rather sinister trailer, and we’ll be sure to keep you posted on when the show find a UK home.

Dr. Death is based on the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed. Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead. As victims piled up, two fellow surgeons and a young Assistant District Attorney set out to stop him. Dr. Death explores the twisted mind of a sociopath and the gross negligence of the system designed to protect the most defenceless among us.
