Duncan Jones’ Source Code Sets 4K UHD Release

Director Duncan Jones’ dazzling sci-fi thriller SOURCE CODE, starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Roadhouse), Michelle Monaghan (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) and Academy Award-nominee Jeffrey Wright (American Fiction) makes its long awaited 4K UHD debut this May.

Gyllenhaal stars as soldier Colter Stevens, who wakes up in the body of an unknown man and discovers that he is part of a government mission to identify the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. The experiment, known as the ‘Source Code’, enables its subjects to take on a person’s identity for the last eight minutes of their lives. Colter has been programmed to relive the incident over and over again, piecing together clues until he can figure out who the suspect is and prevent another large-scale terrorist attack.

Shot by Don Burgess (Oscar-nominated for his cinematography on Forrest Gump), and edited by Oscar winner Paul Hirsch (Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope), SOURCE CODE features jaw-dropping special effects from the team behind RoboCop, Now You See Me and Riddick.

Described by Empire magazine as “an exciting, intellectually stimulating science-fiction thriller which also connects emotionally”, SOURCE CODE blends elements of Jacob’s Ladder and Inception, while laying the groundwork for Edge of Tomorrow. It’s a thrill-a-minute ride that builds to a shattering conclusion. Released shortly after his BAFTA Award-winning debut Moon, the two films established Jones as one of the foremost sci-fi directors working today. His latest film, an animated adaptation of classic 2000AD comic strip Rogue Trooper, is currently in production.

Source Code will be released on 4K UHD from May 20th, pre-order your copy today!
