David Tennant Gets Super Creepy In Jessica Jones Teaser

David-Tennant-Jessica-Jones

There is just over a month to go before our next helping of the Netflix arm of the Marvel Universe. All 13 episodes of Jessica Jones arrive on the streaming service November 20 and a new super creepy trailer feature David Tennant has been released.

David Tennant lays down some sinister voiceover to taunt Jessica (Krysten Ritter), and it’s enough to make your blood run cold. In a change of pace, the former Time Lord is playing the resident bad guy in the form of Kilgrave aka The Purple Man. We’ll also be introduced to Luke Cage (Mike Colter) ahead of his own series that kicks off sometime next year.

Netflix is playing their cards with this second series a little closer to their chest than Daredevil, but I’m loving the snippets we are seeing trickle out. We’ve had a bunch of moody promos light on footage, that’s fine by me because I’ll be watching the whole series in one long sleep deprived stint, you know the way nature intended.

Joining Ritter and Tennant are Rachael Taylor, and Carrie-Anne Moss with a guest spot for Rosario Dawson reprising her role as Claire Temple from Daredevil.

Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
